गृहपृष्ठ ∕ Politics ∕ Meeting of five-party alliance underway Politics Meeting of five-party alliance underway KathmanduPati September 10, 2021 File Photo KATHMANDU – A meeting of top leaders of alliance of five ruling parties is now taking place at the official residence of the Prime Minister to hold discussions on country’s contemporary political situation, on giving full shape to the cabinet and on arriving at a common view regarding Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC). A meeting has also been scheduled with high-officials of MCC today itself. A leader participating in the meeting told RSS that they discussed regarding how to move ahead in a strategic manner as meetings of both Houses of parliament have been scheduled this afternoon and on how to make the parliamentary activities effective at a time when the opposition party has been obstructing the House. Prime Minister and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba, CPN (Maoist Centre) Chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Chairperson of CPN (Unified Socialist) Madhav Kumar Nepal, Chairperson of Janata Samajbadi Party Nepal Upendra Yadav, NC General-Secretary Purna Bahadur Khadka and Spokesperson of the Rastriya Janamorcha Durga Poudel are participating in the meeting.
