A meeting of the Kathmandu District Committee of the NC held on Friday decided to start the ward convention on from Tuesday. Congress Kathmandu president Sabuj Baniya shared that the ward convention is being held as the party’s Central Election Committee has finalized the active membership and sent it to the district. Kathmandu has 10 constituencies and 20 provincial constituencies. There are 138 wards in Kathmandu with 11 local levels including Kathmandu Metropolitan City. In Kathmandu, the Congress has more than 30,000 active members.
