गृहपृष्ठ ∕ Politics ∕ Appropriation Bill tabled in NA Politics Appropriation Bill tabled in NA KathmanduPati September 21, 2021 KATHMANDU – The Appropriation Bill, 2078 BS was tabled in the National Assembly today. Federal Parliament Secretariat Secretary Rajendra Phuyal tabled the document received from the House of Representatives along with message before the NA session today. Earlier on Monday, the Lower House had endorsed the Bill with a majority of votes and sent it to the Upper House. Once the Bill gets passed from the both Houses, it will be presented to President Bidya Devi Bhandari for authentication. It shall come into effect once the Head-of-the-State authenticates it. Prior to tabling the Bill, CPN (UML) lawmaker Devendra Dahal said the Ordinance relating to Political Parties was capable of weakening democracy. He also took time to express his concern over what he argued the government’s apathy to address issues of survivors of natural disasters like landslides and floods. The NA shall meet again today for the second meeting.
