The new Minister took oath amidst a ceremony at the Rastrapati Bhawan, Shital Niwas today in the presence of Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba. Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota and National Assembly Chair Ganesh Prasad Timalsina were also present on the occasion. The-Head-of-the-State appointed Dr Khadka the Minister for Foreign Affairs today itself on the recommendation of the Prime Minister.
