गृहपृष्ठ ∕ Politics ∕ Pandey appointed new CM of Bagmati Province Politics Pandey appointed new CM of Bagmati Province KathmanduPati October 28, 2021 KATHMANDU – Chief of Bagmati Province, Yadav Chandra Sharma, has appointed parliamentary party leader of the CPN (Unified Socialist), Rajendra Pandey, to the post of Chief Minister of Bagmati Province. Province Chief Sharma appointed Pandey to the post in line with Article 168 (2) of the Constitution. Similarly, Sharma on the recommendation of Chief Minister Pandey appointed Kumari Moktan as Minister for Social Development, Krishna Lal Bhandel as Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Krishna Prasad Khanal as Minister for Internal Affairs and Law. CPN (Maoist Centre), Nepali Congress, CPN (Unified Socialist) and Janata Samajbadi Party had supported Pandey for his appointment to the post of CM. Leader Pandey had claimed for the post of new CM along with signature of 59 members of Bagmati Province Assembly at the Province Chief Secretariat on Wednesday. There are 109 members in the Bagmati Province Assembly.
