गृहपृष्ठ ∕ Politics ∕ RPP unity general convention: voting for new working committee begins Politics RPP unity general convention: voting for new working committee begins KathmanduPati December 04, 2021 KATHMANDU – Voting for new working committee under the unity general convention of the Rastriya Prajantra Party (RPP), has begun at the City Hall, Bhrikutimandap. Leader Sundar Pandey said that the voting for 119-member committee including eight office-bearers-one chairperson, four vice-chairpersons and three general secretaries has kicked off in the general convention started from December 1. The voting would take place till 5:00 pm. Kamal Thapa and Rajendra Lingden are vying for the post of Chairperson. Around 4,700 representatives across the nation have been participating in the general convention. An arrangement of ballot paper has been made only for the post of chairperson while electronic voting for other office-bearers and central committee members in the election. Though it would take some time to get result of the post of chairperson, result of electronic voting is expected to come by tonight.
