The meeting called by party president Deuba at his personal residence at Budhanilakantha, Kathmandu is discussing the impending NC’s 14th national convention. The meeting is also deliberating on the candidacy of the office-bearers from the Deuba faction to vie in the upcoming national convention, shared NC central member NP Saud. President Deuba has been preparing to contest for the party president post yet again. The statute of the party mandates that one President, two vice-presidents, two general-secretaries and eight joint general-secretaries would be elected through the national convention and one treasurer would be elected by the elected central members. The 14th national convention is going to take place on December 10-12 in Kathmandu.
