गृहपृष्ठ ∕ Politics ∕ HUPRES demands endorsement of impeachment motion against CJ Rana Politics HUPRES demands endorsement of impeachment motion against CJ Rana KathmanduPati March 14, 2022 KATHMANDU – The Human Rights and Peace Society (HUPRES) has demanded the endorsement of a motion to impeach Chief Justice Cholendra Shumsher JB Rana and the proceeding of a legal action against him. The 24th meeting of the Society concluded at Banganga of Kapilvastu recently sought the ratification of the impeachment motion and legal action against him, according to a statement issued by the HUPRES here today. The meeting which was attended by over 200 rights activists passed eight proposal including the one titled ‘quality health services and scientific education: rights of all’. The meeting also called on Russia to immediately withdraw its armies from Ukraine, stop the war against the neighbor and contribute to the safety of people there.
