This festival helps promote folk culture of the country rich in cultural diversity and increase mutual harmony, intimacy and fraternity, he said in a message today on the occasion Holi festival. “I wish this holi festival inspires all to build and promote polite, cultured and just society along with original culture while ending its existing distortion, discrepancy and ill-practices.” Holi festival is being observed in hilly, mountainous districts and inner Madhes districts today. People from Tarai will observe the festival tomorrow (Friday).
