गृहपृष्ठ ∕ Politics ∕ CPN (US) Chair pledges to assist in developing Laprak Politics CPN (US) Chair pledges to assist in developing Laprak KathmanduPati March 18, 2022 File Photo KATHMANDU – Former Prime Minister and CPN (US) Chairperson Madhav Kumar Nepal has pledged to take initiatives for the development of Laprak and Barpak in Gorkha district. Laprak and Barpak were damaged by the 2015 earthquake. He said that he would take initiatives to upgrade the roads and enhance services like health, drinking water and electricity in the area. Chairperson Nepal was addressing an event organised at Laprak by the CPN (US), Gorkha. “Construction of a road leading to Laprak is underway. The construction works should be intensified,” said Nepal, also Chairperson of the CPN (US). Responding to the complaints on lack of drinking water in a model settlement of Laprak, he assured local people that he would take up this issue with the line minister in Kathmandu. Nepal also stressed the need for constructing a central transmission line up to Laprak as soon as possible. “I, on my part, put pressure on the government and ministers for development activities. You can also join this effort.
