गृहपृष्ठ ∕ Nepal ∕ Health Minister launches Typhoid vaccination Nepal Health Minister launches Typhoid vaccination KathmanduPati April 09, 2022 KATHMANDU – Minister for Health Birodh Khatiwada has instructed the stakeholders to complete the national vaccination campaign against typhoid effectively. Launching the vaccination campaign at Bhojshiddha Secondary School in Manhari Rural Municipality Ward No. 5 of Makawanpur today, he urged parents to bring their children to participate in the campaign as the vaccine is completely safe. Stating that the campaign that began today will be conducted across the country till May 1, Minister Khatiwada shared that vaccination will be administered to around 7.5 million children between the ages of 15 months and 15 years. He said that more than 50,000 vaccination centers, necessary vaccine, skilled human resource and volunteers have been managed for the vaccination across the country. The target is to vaccinate 80 percent of the children from the school and the rest from the community health office.
