Spokesperson for the Ministry of Health and Population Dr. Jageshwor Gautam informed that the total number of infected people in Nepal has now reached 44,236. Similarly, 25,561 infected people have been cured in the last 24 hours, while a total of 1,354 corona infected people have returned home after undergoing treatment so far. In the last 24 hours, 13,638 people have undergone PCR tests. The number of people in home isolation is 7,462, while the total number of active infected cases is 18,404. Fourteen people have died in Nepal in the last 24 hours, tallying the total number of coronavirus related deaths in Nepal to 271.
