गृहपृष्ठ ∕ Politics ∕ Election Commission seeks clarification from Dr Bhattarai Politics Election Commission seeks clarification from Dr Bhattarai KathmanduPati May 13, 2022 File Photo KATHMANDU – The Election Commission has demanded a clarification from Janata Samajwadi Party’s Federal Council Chair Dr Baburam Bhattarai for making public the ballot paper which he had marked for voting. The constitutional body responsible to conduct election sought clarification from Dr Bhattarai within 24 hours, claiming he committed offence as per Election (Offence and Punishment) Act-2073 BS’s Clause 9 (2), according to Commission’s spokesperson Shaligram Sharma Poudel. Dr Bhattarai, also former Prime Minister, had posted picture in social networking sites today morning where he was showing the ballot paper already marked and sealed.
