गृहपृष्ठ ∕ Politics ∕ CPN (Maoist Centre) candidate elected chair of Naumule Rural Municipality Politics CPN (Maoist Centre) candidate elected chair of Naumule Rural Municipality KathmanduPati May 15, 2022 DAILEKH – CPN (Maoist Centre) candidate Chabiram Subedi has been elected to the post of Chairperson of Naumule Rural Municipality in Dailekh district. Subedi garnered 3,200 votes to win in the local level election held on May 13. His nearest rival from Nepali Congress (NC) Bhade Buda Magar secured 2,544 votes. Budha Magar is also outgoing Chairperson of the same municipality. Similarly, Ganga Bahadur Shahi, representing CPN (Unified Socialist), was elected the vice-chairperson. He got 2,834 votes and defeated Nepali Congress’ Amrita Singh who received 2,405. CPN (Maoist Centre) and CPN (Unified Socialist) had entered electoral alliance for the election in the rural municipality having eight wards. Nepali Congress candidates have won in 5 wards, CPN (Unified Socialist) in two wards and CPN (UML) in a ward.
