According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, there is a general effect of monsoon winds in Province No. 1, Madhes, Bagmati and Gandaki and local winds in other provinces. The department has pointed out the possibility of light to moderate rains in Province 1, Madhes, Bagmati, Gandaki and some places in Karnali and in some hilly areas of other provinces. Currently, there is light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in a few places of Lumbini province. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain at night in most places of Province No. 1 and Madhes Province, Bagmati, Gandaki and Karnali Province and a few places in the hilly terrain of other provinces. According to the latest report of the Weather Forecast Division, the minimum temperature in Kathmandu Valley today is 20.5 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature is 29.5 degrees Celsius.
