गृहपृष्ठ ∕ Politics ∕ Deliberations on Appropriation Bill- lawmakers proposed for budget cuts Politics Deliberations on Appropriation Bill- lawmakers proposed for budget cuts KathmanduPati June 12, 2022 File Photo KATHMANDU – As deliberations are underway on expenditure budget allotted for the Ministry of Urban Development, Ministry of Health and Population, the Office of the National Planning Commission, the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers and the Offices of the President and the Vice-President in today’s session of the House of Representatives, lawmakers have proposed the downsize budget. Durga Poudel proposed to reduce budget for the Ministry of Urban Development by Rs 100. She also demanded the budget cuts for the Ministry of Health and Population and the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Minister. Krishna Bhakta Pokhrel sought to reduce the budget allocated under the heading of Urban Ministry Development to Re one while Sher Bahadur Tamang wanted the budget of Ministry of Health and Population to be at Re one. Bhim Bahadur Rawal proposed to reduce the budget of the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Minister to Re one. The deliberations continue.
