A team of Police Circe, Thankot, arrested Gyan Bahadur Nepali, 32, of Gauri Shankar rural municipality-8 in Dolakha on Monday for raping a 17-year-old woman inside a tipper parked on the way to Thankot depot of the Nepal Oil Corporation at Chandragiri municipality-7. Superintendent of Police at the District Police Range, Kathmandu, Dinesh Raj Mainali, said Nepali had raped the woman on July 8 inside the parked tipper (Ra 1 Kha 2734). The tipper driver Nepali had brought the woman along with him to Thankot from Gaushala in the tipper. The team deployed under leadership of Chief Dilli Narayan Pandey rescued the woman and send to Maternity Hospital for treatment, he added. Investigation into the case was underway remanding Nepali to five-day custody.
