Spokesperson for the Ministry of Health and Population, Dr. Jageshwor Gautam, informed that the total number of infected people in Nepal has now reached 48,138. Similarly, 32,964 infected people have been cured in Nepal so far, while 2,287 corona infected people have returned home after undergoing treatment. In the last 24 hours, 10,611 people have undergone PCR tests. The number of people in quarantine is 5,310, while the number of people in home isolation is 6,815. The total number of active infected cases is 14,868. Six people have died in Nepal in the last 24 hours, tallying the total number of coronavirus related deaths in Nepal to 306.
