Spokesperson for the Ministry of Health and Population Dr. Jageshwor Gautam informed that the total number of infected people in Nepal has now reached 49,219. Similarly, 918 patients have been discharged in the last 24 hours. Dr. Gautam informed that 33,882 people have recovered in Nepal so far. In the last 24 hours, 11,167 people have undergone PCR tests. While the number of people currently in quarantine is 5,480, the number of people undergoing treatment at home is 7,037. The total number of active cases is 15,025. Six people have died in Nepal in the last 24 hours, tallying the total number of coronavirus related deaths in Nepal to 312.
