गृहपृष्ठ ∕ Nepal ∕ Election Officer in Solukhumbu found dead Nepal Election Officer in Solukhumbu found dead KathmanduPati November 19, 2022 File Photo SOLUKHUMBU – An election officer deployed at polling centre set up at Phurke Community Forest in Nechasalyan rural municipality-4 in Solukhumbu district has been found dead where he was sleeping. Biltu Raya, 56, was found dead today morning, confirmed DSP Sunil Jung Shah, Chief of District Police Office, Solukhumbu. According to police, Raya was sleeping in the polling centre was found dead while other election staffs had gone to wake him up at 4:00 am. A team of police has been mobilized in the accident site for further investigation into the death of the election officer while his body has been sent to District Hospital at Phaplu for postmortem, according to Bina Rai, vice-chairperson of Nechasalyan rural municipality. Raya, who was originally from Haripurba municipality-5 in Sarlahi district, was working in the Raya Ayurveda Health Centre at Necha in the district. He was taking medicine for diabetes and cardiovascular related ailment for a long time, it was learned.
