गृहपृष्ठ ∕ Politics ∕ CPN (UML)’s Bista wins HoR seat in Gulmi-2 Politics CPN (UML)’s Bista wins HoR seat in Gulmi-2 KathmanduPati November 23, 2022 KATHMANDU – CPN (UML) candidate Gokarna Raj Bista has won the election to the Member of House of Representatives (HoR) from Gulmi, constituency no 2. Bista garnered 28,485 votes. His closest contender Ram Kumari Jhankri of the CPN (Unified Socialist) got 26,441 votes, Election Officer Shiva Bahadur Thapa said. With this election victory, Bista has made a hat-trick from this constituency. Bista has been elected the HoR member from this constituency in 2070 BS, 2074 BS and now. A total 58,759 votes were cast in the election to the HoR and Province Assembly Member from this constituency. The twin elections were held simultaneously across the country on Sunday. It may be noted that Bista was also elected the MP in 2056 BS. He lost the election to Maoist party’s Chandra Bahadur Thapa only in 2064 BS.
