Addressing a programme organised at Pulimarang, Byas Municipality-8 of Tanahu today, he argued that the goal of the present ruling coalition is also establishing peace, good governance and a stable government. “The country is in need of good governance. The nation will prosper if we can stop corruption and commission-mongering. We should become self-sufficient in food by revolutionizing agriculture, tourism should be expanded to the rural hinterland and industries should be opened in the villages which will create jobs, leading the country towards prosperity,” he reiterated. Senior leader Poudel reminded that the newly-elected people’s representatives should not betray the people. He visited the Martyrs Park at Pulimarang and paid tribute to the martyr Dharma Dhwaj Gurung by garlanding the martyr’s statue. Leader Poudel shared on the occasion that he joined politics drawing inspiration from Gurung.
