Visiting the Bhattarai Ashram at Badegaun in Lalitpur today, Deputy Prime Minister Khadka opined that maintaining sustainable development, completing the remaining task of the peace process and achieving economic prosperity on the basis of sustainable peace were the priorities of the incumbent government. Upgrading Nepal to middle-income country within certain year by making economic growth of the nation and Nepali citizen was the government’s priority, he mentioned. DPM Khadka also expressed commitment to unite all the parties in and out the parliament. He laid emphasis that the incumbent government would move ahead with a sentiment of unity for the sake of country’s self-respect, security and people’s welfare by incorporating all parties in common minimum programme. On the occasion, he garlanded the statue of founding member of the Nepali Congress and former Prime Minister Krishna Prasad Bhattarai at Ashram premises.
