The head of the government has pledged to highly acknowledge the achievement of Nepali cricketers and to encourage and award them. It may be noted that Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Home Affairs, Narayan Kaji Shrestha, and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defense, Purna Bahadur Khadka were there at Kirtipur-based TU Cricket Ground during the final match between Nepal and the UAE for the motivation of Nepali cricketer. Their presence followed the directions of the Prime Minister for the same. Following the Nepal’s victory, the deputy prime ministers congratulated the team, extending their best wishes for more success in the days to come. With this, Nepal has been qualified to play the Asia Cup taking place in coming September. In the final match held today, Nepal defeated the UAE by 7 wickets.
