President Paudel issued the Ordinance in accordance with the Article 114 (1) of the Constitution of Nepal and at the recommendation of the Council of Ministers, informed Sagar Acharya, Spokesperson at the Office of the President. It may be noted that the meeting of the Council of Ministers held on last Tuesday had decided to amend the law through an ordinance to address the problems facing the loan-shark victims.
