In a tweet made today, Prime Minister Oli greeted Indian Prime Minister Modi on his birthday and wished him good health and happiness. In his birthday greetings, Oli also vowed to continue working closely together to further strengthen relations between Nepal and India. “Warm greetings to Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji on the auspicious occasion of your birthday. I wish you good health and happiness. We will continue working closely together to further strengthen relations between our two countries,” wrote Prime Minister Oli in his tweet. Indian Prime Minister Modi responded to PM Oli through a tweet nearly 7 hours later. Thanking Oli for his greetings, Prime Minister Modi said that India looks forward to further strengthening ties between the two countries. “Thank you, Excellency @kpsharmaoli ji! We look forward to the further strengthening of India-Nepal ties, based on our shared culture and history,” wrote Indian PM Modi in response to Prime Minister Oli’s tweet.
