गृहपृष्ठ ∕ Politics ∕ House joint sitting endorses Conduct of Business Regulations Politics House joint sitting endorses Conduct of Business Regulations KathmanduPati May 28, 2023 File Photo KATHMANDU – A joint sitting of the Federal Parliament today endorsed the Federal Parliament’s Joint Sitting and Joint Committee (conduct of business) Regulations, 2080 BS. Regulations Draft Committee President Dhruba Bahadur Pradhan proposed the meeting to endorse the regulations. Prior to that, the session went through deliberations on the draft of the regulations along with the amendment proposals put forth by various lawmakers. Lawmakers Khimlal Devkota and Jitendra Naryan Dev withdrew their proposals to amend the regulations’ draft while Amresh Kumar Singh, Prabhu Sah, Sumana Shrestha, Prem Suwal and Dr. Bimala Rai Poudyal chose to stand their ground over the amendment motions. The Speaker announced the endorsement of the document by majority.
