During the meeting took place at the Prime Minister’s official residence, Baluwatar, the parties agreed to meet again and exchanged views on budget and other issues. It may be noted that ruling partners CPN (Unified Socialist) and Janata Samajbadi Party have expressed their concerns over some points in the budget for the upcoming fiscal year 2023-24 and this was one of the agenda of the today’s meeting. The government had presented the budget on May 29. CPN (Maoist Centre) Chair and Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ and CPN (Unified Socialist) Chair and former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal were among those present in the meeting.
