In the meeting scheduled at his office, Singh Durbar, at 11.00 am, Speaker Ghimire is discussing with Prime Minister and Chairman of CPN (Maoist Centre), Pushpa Kamal Dahal, ‘Prachanda’,major opposition leader and CPN UML Chairman, KP Sharma Oli, and Nepali Congress President and former prime minister Sher Bahadur Deuba. Issues as electing chairpersons of parliamentary committees and making effective the parliament will feature significantly in the meeting. It is also learnt that Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Dhan Raj Gurung, will be attending the meeting. Ten thematic committees were formed under the House of Representatives on April 28, but they have not been able to pick chairpersons till date.
