The main opposition party has said the said statement by PM Dahal is objectionable. The emergency meeting was chaired by leader of the CPN (UML) parliamentary party and party chairperson, KP Sharma Oli. UML Whip Mahesh Bartaula said that the UML will seriously raise this issue in the House of Representatives meeting today as the purported statement by the Prime Minister is against the country’s sovereignty and capable of harming the parliament’s dignity as well.
