In today’s House of Representatives (HoR) meeting, Lamichhane argued that there was no public trust to the ongoing probes and investigations taking place from the government agencies on gold smuggling scam. On the occasion, Lamichhane, also the parliamentary party leader of RSP, asked the Home Minister saying who is keeping a vigilant eye on the activities that are influencing the investigating jobs on the gold smuggling scam in the past 20 days. Lamichhane also asked to begin a probe even to the ruling parties’ leaders. He also expressed his serious objection to the discussions among the top leaders of the three major parties by disrupting the House meetings. Likewise, Lamichhane said that the House meeting should continue and people’s issues should be discussed here. — Write your comments RELATED NEWS Opposition parliamentarians demand earliest session of parliament Nepal-India JBF meeting: Emphasis on expansion of bilateral trade Government working so as to make people feel development: Minister… Janamat Party forms task force to explore alliance with Madhesh-centric… PM Oli, Sri Lankan’s former President meet HoR Secretary Rai sworn in Top Headlines Scrutinizing Relevance of Prithivi Narayan Shah´s Thoughts and Strategy1 Relevance of Prithivi Narayan Shah in Contemporary Nepal2 PM Oli extends New Year greetings3 PM Oli, Sri Lankan’s former President meet4 Ncell is the FIRST Nepali Telecom Company to receive ISO 27001 and ISO 27701 certifications for information security and data privacy5 NA team sets out on Gorakha-Kathmandu march to promote ‘unification route’6 HoR Secretary Rai sworn in7 Economic prosperity achievable thru good governance: Minister Lekhak8 TRENDING What Makes Prithivi Narayan Shah a Philosopher and a Truly Democratic King?
