In a press conference organized at the party central office here today, he said this topic would be discussed during Prime Minister and party Chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda’s visit to China. “Talks should be held through the diplomatic channel regarding the map issued by China. Diplomatic initiatives should be stepped up,” the party spokesman said, adding that the matter would be discussed during the PM’s China visit. According to him, talks should be held through diplomatic means why an important topic like map was not included. It may be noted here that China’s 2023 standard map issued by the Ministry of Natural Resources on Monday has ignored the new map endorsed by the federal Parliament of Nepal, as it has failed to recognise the new map of Nepal with a pointed area on the northwest side. Instead, it has included the old map of Nepal.
