Chinese President Xi Jinping says relations with Nepal remain his high priority

Chinese President, Premier send message of felicitation on Nepal’s Constitution Day


KATHMANDU- China has extended its wishes to Nepal on the occasion of the Constitution Day. Sending a message of felicitation separately on Sunday, Chinese President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Keqiang have extended warm greetings to Nepali President Bidya Devi Bhandari and Prime Minister K P Sharma Oli, respectively, on the occasion of the Constitution Day of Nepal.

In his message to President Bhandari, Chinese President Jinping said that he has accorded a high priority on developing China-Nepal relations, according to China Radio International, Nepal Service.

He also stated that he also wants cooperation in other areas to benefit the people of both countries. Recalling his official visit to Nepal last year that has helped in taking the friendly ties of two countries to a new high, he also said that the bilateral cooperation on fighting Covid-19 this year has deepened the relations of two neighbors.

Similarly, Chinese Prime Minister Keqiang in his message to his Nepali counterpart Oli said that China and Nepal have advanced cooperation in various fields. He also mentioned that China has joined hands with Nepal to fight against the epidemic and increased cooperation in various fields.

Li expressed his desire to further deepen the age-old friendly strategic cooperative partnership between China and Nepal towards development and prosperity, according to the CRI, Nepal Service. Chinese Ambassador to Nepal, Hou Yanqi, tweeted the news links of congratulatory messages sent by Chinese President and Premier.
