Talking to media here today, the NC leader said though general misunderstanding among the ruling partners, there was no possibility for the government change at the moment. “As far as I am concerned, the government led by Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ could last for five years,” he said, adding that a government is necessary to take the nation towards the path of development. “There is no tug-of-war in the government.” The leader took time to say Dahal is not an ordinary personality, adding that he saw no ground that the CPN (UML) and CPN (Maoist Centre) would collaborate in the days to come. He also said that in the past he wished the NC to stay in the opposition, underlining the need of further unity within the party to keep the party legacy intact. He advised the party leadership to provide an opportunity to youth generation to own up the party leadership.
