The Province Health Service Division stated that 237 of the total 452 active coronavirus cases in the Karnali state were in home isolation. The latest data shared by the Division shows that 215 of the active infection cases are receiving treatment in isolation facilities run by various hospitals and the local levels. One hundred sixty nine of the 273 infected persons are in home isolation in Surkhet alone, which comes to about 62 percent. The number of infected people staying in home isolation has increased after the government directed asymptomatic cases to stay in home isolation while adopting all the health safety standards.
