गृहपृष्ठ ∕ Politics ∕ Home Minister shows concern over status of Nepali nationals in Israel Politics Home Minister shows concern over status of Nepali nationals in Israel KathmanduPati October 08, 2023 File photo KATHMANDU – Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Narayan Kaji Shrestha has shown serious concern over the situation of the Nepali citizens in Israel facing hardship due to the ongoing battle between Hamas, the Palestinian militant group and the Israeli Army since Saturday morning. The DPM and Home Minister today contacted Nepal’s ambassador to Israel, Kanta Rijal and Ambassador of Israel to Nepal, Hanan Goder and took information on the status of the Nepali nationals caught up in the war and their rescue. He inquired about the food, accommodation, treatment and security of some Nepalis injured and taken hostage in Gaza area and also of all Nepali nationals in Israel with the announcement of the news related to this. Nepali ambassador Rijal said works are underway on collecting information about Nepalis injured and stuck in the battle zone and about their medical treatment and rescue. Similarly, Israeli ambassador Goder has asserted that serious alertness would be adopted to prevent the effects of the war on Nepali nationals in Israel.
