गृहपृष्ठ ∕ Nepal ∕ Heavy rain with gusty winds forecast for five days Nepal Heavy rain with gusty winds forecast for five days KathmanduPati September 21, 2020 KATHMANDU : The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has forecasted heavy rain accompanied with gusty winds in many places of the country for the next five days. The Department stated in a special bulletin issued today that the low pressure area around the northeast of Bay of Bengal is in the process of shifting towards the northwest and in course of this, heavy rain along with gusty winds will take place in many places of the country for the next four to five days. The department has urged all to take relevant and necessary precautions. At present, the weather is cloudy throughout the country with light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning occurring in some areas. As per the weather update issued by the Meteorological Forecasting Division, the minimum temperature in Kathmandu Valley was recorded at 20.0 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature at 31.0 degrees Celsius. Similarly, the minimum temperature throughout the country was recorded today in Jumla at 14.4 degrees Celsius while the maximum temperature throughout the country was recorded in Nepalgunj at 36.5 degrees Celsius.
