Karki was appointed on the post on October 14. The Chief Minister also formed a small council of ministers today itself. Karki has inducted Ram Bahadur Rana Magar and Shamser Rai as ministers without portfolio to the government. The appointments were made by the Province Chief on the recommendations of Karki, according to the Office of Province Chief. Rana Magar represents the CPN (UML) and Rai is from the Nepali Congress in the newly constituted province government.
