गृहपृष्ठ ∕ Politics ∕ DPM Shrestha unwell, receiving ICU treatment Politics DPM Shrestha unwell, receiving ICU treatment KathmanduPati October 19, 2023 File Photo KATHMANDU – Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Home Affairs, Narayan Kaji Shrestha, who is presently on an official visit to the People’s Republic of China, has been hospitalized due to chest complications. The Minister has been admitted to the Peking Union Medical College in Beijing, as confirmed by his private secretary, Suresh Kaji Shrestha. It is reported that the Minister suffered a mild heart attack and underwent a stent placement procedure for his heart. According to the Minister’s secretariat, the hospital has stated that he is out of a life-threatening situation. He is currently receiving intensive care unit (ICU) treatment. Shrestha is on the visit to the northern neighbour at the invitation of his Chinese counterpart.
