Speaking at the first meeting of the third session of the House of Representatives here today, Speaker Ghimire expressed his belief that the session will see the passage of important bills, while addressing issues of public interest and giving instructions to the government along with lawmaking. The Speaker stressed the need for unity among political parties on issues of common interest of the nation and requested for support from the parliamentarians to make parliament activities and practices effective and progressive by adopting the rule of law, transparency and accountability. He also shared that a new practice has been started with the implementation of a calendar of activities from this session.
