Talking to RSS today, Chief Minister Karki shared that Biratnagar-Lukla mountain flight would be operated making Sagarmatha region as its base. He mentioned a plan to begin mountain flight from Biratnagar would be implemented soon for further promoting tourism keeping Mt Everest region in priority. “Although Khumbu area is close with federal capital, it is alienated from the province. We are serious to resolve it. We are making preparation to operate mountain flight from Biratnagar within few months,” stressed CM Karki. A team comprising CM Karki would reach Sagarmatha region to observe ‘Sagarmatha Day’ on May 29 for the tourism development of Khumbu. The province government was always ready to promote Sagarmatha region, he underlined.
