गृहपृष्ठ ∕ Nepal ∕ Two die of suffocation inside a well Nepal Two die of suffocation inside a well KathmanduPati September 25, 2020 KATHMANDU : Two people have died from suffocating inside a well at the Shah Party Palace in the Manahari Rural municipality-7 of Makwanpur district today. The two had gone into the well to repair a water pump. A team of Nepali Army has retrieved the bodies from the well, the District Police Office Makwanpur said. According to the police, the hotel operator’s son, 30-year-old Suraj Saha, had gone into the well at 9 am to repair the water pump. After Saha did not come out of the well, 16-year-old Utsav Nepali went in. When both did not return after a long period of time, a local named Ananda went in with the use of a rope, where he fell unconscious halfway in. It was at this point that the hotel operator informed the police of the incident. The Nepali Army team immediately reached the place and found two dead bodies in the well. The army team rescued Ananda, who was then sent to the CMC Hospital at Bharatpur. The bodies of Saha and Nepali have been brought to Hetauda Hospital for post-mortem, police said.
