Vice President Ram Sahay Prasad Yadav, Speaker Devraj Ghimire, National Assembly Chairman Narayan Prasad Dahal were among other dignitaries present on the occasion. The President on Wednesday appointed Badal to the post of Attorney General on the recommendation of the Prime Minister.
