The earthquake measured 3.9 on the Richter scale. Before this, an earthquake measuring 4.2 in the Richter scale and with epicentre around Annapurna Area on the border between Kaski and Manang districts was recorded on November 21. The Centre has stated that earthquakes have been occurring in recent times in Nepal which is at risk of tremors as it is located in the Himalaya region, a seismically active zone.
