The earthquake measuring 4.8 on the Richter Scale was recorded in Sindhupalchowk district at 1:02 pm. According to the National Earthquake Measuring and Research Centre, the epicenter of the earthquake was located at Majhitar in the district. Centre Spokesperson Monika Jha said today’s earthquake was an aftershock of the 2015 Gorkha Earthquake.
