
KATHMANDU – The government has collected Rs 4.12 billion in revenue from realty business in the last month, Falgun. The last one month witnessed higher realty business than the previous month, Magh, according to Department of Land Management and Archives.
With the realty business gradually turning normal, the collection of revue amount has increased. Categorically, Rs 288 million was generated from service tax, while Rs 2.20 billion from registration fee and Rs 1.57 billion from capital gain tax during this period.
Similarly, month-wise, government was able to generate Rs 3.83 billion in the month of Saun, Rs 3.9 billion in Bhadra, Rs 3.8 billion in Asoj, Rs 2.70 in Kartik, Rs 3.87 in Mangsir, Rs 4.25 billion in Poush and Rs 3.87 billion in Magh of the current fiscal year.
The Land Revenue Office, Lagankhel of Lalitpur district collected Rs 380.2 million in revenue in Falgun alone, according to the Department.
