Chief District Officer and Chairperson of the Disaster Management Committee Meghnath Padhya shared the decision to distribute the money received from the Ministry of Home Affairs to the municipalities and rural municipalities. The amount, according to him, will be provided to 1,473 earthquake victims. Among the nine municipalities in the district, Himali and Jaganna rural municipalities have not yet received the funds for the earthquake-affected people, he said. Funds have also arrived for those affected by monsoon-related disasters, he said.
