Also there is the influence of water vapour-rich air coming from the Bay of Bengal, the Meteorological Forecasting Division said. The weather will be partly to generally cloudy throughout the country today with chances of light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning at some places of the high hilly and mountainous region and one or two places of the other regions. Similarly, there will be partly to generally cloudy throughout the country tonight, the weather bulletin mentioned. Light rain accompanied by thunder and lightning is likely to occur at some places of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces and light snowfall is likely to occur at some places of the high hilly and mountainous region.
