The CJ Raut administered the oath to economist Dr Poudel amid a ceremony held at the Supreme Court today. The meeting of Council of Ministers convened on last Tuesday decided to appoint Dr Poudel to the post. The government had formed a three-member committee coordinated by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Bishnu Prasad Paudel to recommend the eligible candidate to lead the Central Bank of Nepal.
