The meeting took place during Vice President Xuan’s official visit to Nepal at the invitation of Vice President Ramsahay Prasad Yadav. The visit coincides with the historic occasion of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Nepal and Vietnam. Earlier in the day, Vice President Yadav also held discussions with the visiting Vietnamese Vice President. She is scheduled to conclude her visit and return to Vietnam on Bhadra 9.
